Gallowglass Health and Safety worked as part of the local organising committee for the UEFA Champions League Final Cardiff 2017 and Kiev 2018.
For both projects Gallowglass Health and Safety were seconded full time to actively manage health and safety across the tournament. This included the co-ordination of a robust safety management system fit for purpose for 5 activation zones at the UEFA Champions League Final. Gallowglass Health and Safety also maintained a permanent presence throughout set-up, tournament / event and derig at all venues associated with the two tournaments. One of the key factors that lead to the successful delivery of both finals was Gallowglass Health and Safety fluid co-ordinations with members of the event team, including, staff, local authority, health safety environmental officers and appointed suppliers.
