Since 2014, Gallowglass Health and Safety have acted as Safety Advisors to the Colour Obstacle Rush. This is a unique event in itself comprising of a 5k run with inflatable obstacles along the way.
In 2015 Gallowglass Health and Safety were involved in over 11 Colour Obstacle Rush events within the United Kingdom and the United States of America. It is estimated that over 100,000 people participated in the events over the course of 2015.
As well as the event involving mass participation, and due to the nature of the inflatable obstacles, one of the key challenges with the Colour Rush Obstacle events is the creation of a simple, yet effective, wind management plan – which is incorporated within the event safety plan.
